I noticed this sign by a field next to the hostel where I'm staying.
Somehow, the idea of having an orderly sign to prohibit something as
chaotic as brawling seemed rather optimistic. What, are they going
to see the sign and say [whoops! Can't brawl here. Lets go somewhere
else.] :-) ??? The icon was funny, too.

Now I'm in the Aquarium in Cairns. This is some type of anemone.
I liked the colors.

A cute little crab.

These are stonefish. Extremely ugly and just as deadly poisonous.
Those spines down the back secrete a powerful toxin. People occasionally
accidently step on them because they are so well camouflaged, and then
the people die. Don't know if being stepped on hurts the fish.

A clownfish in its anemone home.

Two sea horses.

A massive fish, rather placid and ugly.

This has got to be one of the weirdest sharks I've ever seen. You can
really see the relation between sharks and rays here. The head looks
just like a ray, down to the gill-like openings on the bottom, but the
back is all shark.

Here's an interesting-looking spotted shark.

There was a guy out on the town square selling coconuts for $2. He'd
hack off the end until he uncovered a little hole in the center, and
then you could stick in a straw and drink it. After you finished drinking
the juice, he'd split it open for you and you could get at the meat.
Oh, my, goodness, but fresh coconut is a whole nother world from the
dried, crunchy stuff we get in the store. Its soft and spongy and you
can spoon it out from the inside of the nut. Yum!!!
